Tabu Sushi Lounge - Bussy St Georges

Tabu is a new concept of a Japanese restaurant : on the first floor you can eat, on the second floor you can drink and dance as it is a lounge bar. The Japanese food is common, but it is good to eat the sashimi and sushi served on a slate plate, with a trendy decoration all in black color and dark grey color. The service is good, all the waiter are mostly young men. If you go there, go to the toilet : firstly the doors are in transparent glass, when you lock the door, it becomes opaque. The tap is like a fountain and you even have a DYSON hair dryer !! For a restaurant held by young Chinese guys, it's good to have set up a dyson !!
For the lounge, try the "mojito à la framboise", it is excellent ! The music is also good. I heard that they have parties with DJ Cut Killer and Lady Gaga.
Price : we always order the menu for 2 for 44.90 euros without drink
Where ? 2 avenue de l'Europe - 77600 Bussy St Georges (near Disneyland Paris)
Tel 01 64 77 13 91
If you don't like Suhi, go to Mac Donald's as there is a huge Mac Donald's next door !! =)

Our first football game

Michel's got 2 places for the football game France-Roumanie for his birthday's present. I think this is the best gift that he ever got for his birthday. We went to the "Stade de France", thank God it was sunny on that evening, the stadium was almost full. We've seen Thierry Henry, Riberi just in front on us. This is our first game together and Michel was very happy to share this moment with me. He always dreamed to take me to a game. The score ? 1-1. I had never thought that one day I will go to a football game !=) Thank you to all our dear friends who offered this great gift to Michel. The ambiance was great, people were great, the French team was great ! "Allez les bleus!"

My umbrella - Habitat

Every one's got an umbrella. But mine has a lamp torch. It is detachable, very convenient when you walk under the rain, especially at nights, because you can light up the torch and see where to put your feet. There is no doubt that this new umbrella is useful for French people, especially when you know that Paris is a place where you can walk on "bomb" (dog's crap).
Where to find it ? Habitat - Val d'Europe
Cost ? Hum, I think it was around 23 euros, but I've got it on sales for 6.5 euros only !

Zen Zoo - Paris downtown

I know this place from my friend Sophia, we went there a few years ago already. It is held by Tawainese, you can get the real bubble tea, in several flavours, exactly same as if you were in Taipei. The restaurant is very small, with tables and chairs in dark wood. The menu are different on day time and evenings. I have not been in this restaurant for 2 years already, they have changed the menu card, and the menu. What to eat ? My favourite is the beef noodle soup, hot and spicy ! I like also the shrimps fried with pinapple. For the dessert, the panacotta with rasberry and lychee sauce is excellent, the green tea cheese cake is good and the "mousse au chocolat à la menthe" is exquisite ! You have 2 menu, one is at 12 euros, the one with dessert is 16 euros.

Grand Royal Hotel - Shatin - Hong Kong

Orion's family took us there to have a French buffet. There was a special occasion for eating French food. After spending 3 weeks in Asia, I missed French cheese so deeply ! So we really were happy to get to this place. OK, there was not only French food, there was sushi, sashimi, cute desserts. It costs around 100-180 HKD per person (around 10 to 18 euros). How to get there? Take the subway and get off at Shatin, it is inside the shopping center. How was the french food? It is so so, but still ok. The service? Good, nothing to say.

Eurostars Angli - Barcelona

Michel and I went to this hotel located in the North of Barcelona, from around 20 minutes from the downtown (shopping area). This 4 star hotel is for couples who are looking for design, modern and romantic moments. I remember there is an outdoor swimming pool, very small one. The shower has several functions with massages, the bathroom is the best part of the room : all is in transparent glass, well it is convenient for couples only...=)
The closest subway is around 7 to 10 minutes from the hotel. I just remembered how tired we were after a whole day of shopping in the downtown, when we had to return to the hotel at night. There is not that much things to do around the hotel as it is located in a residential area.
I also remember how comfortable the bed was !

Mini Palais - Paris

This restaurant lounge is located behind the Museum "Le Grand Palais" in the Champs Elysées area. We went there to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary. Our church friend Denis Ung was working there as an young employee for the dessert. The ambiance is cosy, very trendy, the decoration is good. The fooding is very good, the dishes are not common, but very good. Attention, the meal card changes oftenly. These dishes below may not exist anymore... Why? Because they always create new main course ! And that is a great idea !

Pourquoi ? Parce qu'ils créent constamment de nouvelles recettes ! Et ça c'est une bonne idée !

The best : boeuf façon sashimi, vinaigrette miel/moutarde
tartare de bar et saumon à la menthe poivrée
cabillaud cuit au bouillon, émulsion de yaourt quinoa au tandoori

Tranche de foi de veau épaisse, riquette et pomme purée à l'ancienne
cheesecake "mini palais", gelée de fruits rouges et glace fromage blanc : THE BEST CHEESE CAKE !
This dessert was offered by our friend Denis, so it is not sold. It's cherry cooked with red wine and "caramel". Delicious ! Served hot ! Thank you Denis !
